Old Students Association Inaugurated at KPS Hiriadka: Alumni Celebrated as Pillars of Progress

The inauguration ceremony of the Old Students Association of KPS Hiriadka was held with great enthusiasm, marking a significant step towards strengthening alumni engagement for the school’s future development. MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty, who inaugurated the event and old students association, emphasized the foundational role of parents and schools in a student's life. In his speech, he said, "We must never forget our parents and the schools that shaped us. The moral education imparted by this institution has built our lives. Former students are the true wealth of government schools. With lakhs of alumni across the globe, we have the potential to build a strong community. Their support will be essential for the all-round development of this institution." The event also celebrated 75 glorious years of the school’s establishment. Former MLA Lalaji R. Mendon, the chief guest, extended his best wishes on this proud occasion and lauded the school for its contribution to education and society. The logo of the Old Students Association was officially launched by Shri Nataraj Hegde, who also shared his good wishes for the initiative. MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty entrusted the leadership of the association to Mr. Shrinivas Rao, who presided over the function as the new President. The MLA also announced the responsibilities of the committee members. Ex-Lecturer Shri N.S. Shetty (Nitte), Shri kuiladi Suresh Nayak, Dr. Kanthi Mallya, Ex-President Sudhir Hegde, Businessman Nithish Kumar, SDMC President B.L. Vishwas, Senior Alumni A. Ramachandra Rao, And other respected committee members were present. The event was gracefully coordinated with the Vice President Nagarajendra M.R. welcoming the dignitaries, Joint Secretary Ms. Nalinadevi M.R. hosting the program, and Principal Secretary Mr. K.N. Sharachandra delivering the vote of thanks.
